Car wash!!!
Never joke with Phoebe!! Yesterday, after Phoebe told me she was washing three cars after school as a way of earning money, I joked that she could wash my car! After school - she got in her old clothes, got the bucket and car washing liquid and was away.........!! What a fabulous role model for excellence! Also (as part of our Inquiry unit) Phoebe was able to tell me she was providing a service rather than a product! As a consumer - I'm very happy! Thanks Phoebe and good luck with earning money to get a rabbit!

We have been practising our striking skills during Physical Education. We use noodles and bean bags to practise with, as some of us are a little apprehensive practising with bats and hard balls. By practising with soft equipment we can focus on our striking skills rather than being worried about being accidentally hurt.
In our Inquiry groups, we made a plan to create a car for a racing challenge. We needed to have enough Junior Dollars to purchase the making items. We knew our car had to look like a car, not fall apart when we raced it and travel well. The next day we purchased and created. The following day we finished our shopping and creating and were ready to test out our cars.... what fun! Here are some photos of us!
